Coverage is World Wide.
Basic Membership to CRHRA Includes:
$5,000,000 Personal Liability for non-commercial use of a horse owned, rented, leased or borrowed by the member
$30,000 Accident, Death and Dismemberment Insurance. Providing a lump sum benefit and some reimbursement of expenses if a member 90 years of age or younger suffers accidental death or dismemberment during equine related activities.
(Members over 75 are not covered for Death and Dismemberment)
CRHRA Trail Community
Each member becomes a member of the CRHRA Trail Community. BFL sends out a certificate of proof of Insurance for $5 million which allows you to ride in or camp at designated areas throughout all the provinces and Territories except Quebec. This is a standard insurance requirement needed for these events. There is no extra charge for the Trail Community. There will be coordinators in zones in all Provinces and Territories to correspond about Trails and Events in those areas. This will allow for those that do not want to belong to a Trail Riding organization in order to go on rides. They can correspond with the coordinator about a ride inviting those that want to attend. Information concerning rules of the campgrounds or trails will be provided by the coordinator. We encourage everyone to become a CRHRA member to enjoy this new initiative we have started. More details as we evolve will be out in newsletters and The Rider and posted to the website.
